Why Tamarind
India is the world’s largest producer of tamarind, with a production of over 2 lakh tonnes, and has a large consumer market. India is considered as the major manufacturer and exporter of tamarind products because approximately 50,000 tonnes of tamarind has exported from India, in various forms including, fresh fruit, deseeded dry tamarind, tamarind powder, paste, extract and pulp.
Tamarind yield from Bastar region, rich in quality, provides an adequate supply of supreme raw materials and is the key reason for us to set up our Tamarind Processing unit in Lohandiguda of District Bastar in Chhattisgarh and with a vision to expand the product folio in near future with forest products like Mahua, Moringa and etc.
